Hi!
I am reading your book right now and love it! I look forward to time when I can curl up with this good book and READ! Wonderful plot that has me hanging onto each word: )

I know it’s too late to post an entry, but i have a funny story about my cat, Rainbowe. I was practicing for a musical called ‘Seussical’ after school, and when i came back, there was a GIANT hole in an upstairs window! my brother, Harrison, said that a bird had crashed through the window, and that the cat was chasing it when he saw it!
Sorry i haven’t posted in a while!

In response to Paige,
a year ago our high school (?) or middle school did that musical. Didn’t get to see it but I heard it was great! I have some more to say, so don’t get bored by my rants…
Theo! Luv your book the most, more than any other. I’m re-reading it because I love it so much, and I NEVER re-read books! Except for Harry Potter. But they have 7 books in the series..so it’s hard to remember sometimes. Anyway, your book surpasses HP and LOTR and other fantasy things like that! Egypt (my FAVE place that I haven’t been to) and London (sounds so posh. Posh. Hm. I’m already using words like that!)combined makes a perfect story.
Sorry for the lengthy and hyper post. Just saying I love the book!
November 22nd, 2007 at 7:05 pm
Also, PLEEEAAASSEEEE make a sequel to TatSoC (Theodosia and the Serpents of Chaos). TatSoc sounds rather weird, though. NOT THE BOOK! The TatSoc part.
November 22nd, 2007 at 9:50 pm
Paige, it’s great to hear from you again! And thank you ever so much for sharing your story of your cat, Rainbowe. That is one determined cat!
Kyra, please don’t ever apologize for lengthy posts saying how much you love the book. You could go on for pages and I would gobble it up. (Ha! That’s a turkey joke, in honor of Thanksgiving Day.)
And you will be pleased to learn that TaTSOO (Theodosia and the Staff of Osiris) will be out in fall of 2008! So have no fear, more adventures are on the way!

Hi, everybody!!!
I’m back with another story!
I’m in a book club called the Ink Drinkers’ Book Club with my friend, Anna, and today I reviewed YOUR book! I rated it four ink drops, and Shayda- you know Shayda, right?- rated it four ink drops, too. And, it turns out, the librarian got a degree in ancient artifacts (?), and she loves your book, too! So, your book got four ink drops! I want to get a signed copy of your book for the library, so my fellow students can read your wonderful books!
also, wouldn’t it be TatSoO?

It’s me! I know it’s been a while, but.. Yeah! Just to let you know, Paige just did a report at our school’s book club, The Ink Drinkers… Oh yeah, she posted that herself.

Hello! Bonjour, mon ami!
Sorry, I have to practice French, even though that really didn’t count.
Anyway, TaTSoO sounds amazing (I can tell by the name). For some reason it reminds me of this TV show I see while channel-surfing sometimes, Tut or something or other. They have a sceptre and wave it around and do all sorts of magical things that result in the curses of Egyptian gods and…Well, I can’t go on with this run-on sentence (I hope you do not think I write with these long sentences!)–so. Anyway. I hope you continue with this series! I will be waiting for the Staff of Osiris with baited breath.

Paige, I adore the name of your book club, The Ink Drinkers. Fabulous!!
And thank you both to Shayda and yourself for rating it four ink drops! What a lovely coincidence that your librarian is so fond of ancient artifacts as well!
Kyra, excellent work on practicing your French. (Speaking of which, I really must go practice mine!) I’ll post the first chapter of TatSoO to whet your appetites closer to the release date.
Oh, and Theodosia and the Serpents of Chaos will be out in paperback in May, in case anyone was waiting for that!
Thanks, everyone, for stopping by!
December 16th, 2007 at 4:13 am
Hey Theo! I just wanted to write you and say that i am reading your book and so far i LOVE it! Theodosia is an amazing name by the way…
I cannot wait to read the rest of your book and I am anticipating the sequel!!!
Anyway, I love your wit and spunk…you’re like me in a lot of ways! LOL
Talk to you later!
Love Always,
Victoria
December 17th, 2007 at 4:13 pm
Welcome, Victoria! I’m so glad you’re enjoying the book!
I’m rather fond of my name, I must say. Thank goodness my parents were paying attention and named me something decent. Knowing them, I could just as easily have ended up a Hortense or Persephinia, which would have been rotten luck!
December 21st, 2007 at 4:04 pm
Hey Theo!
Guess what – my Mom picked your book to be on her BEST OF THE BEST list! You’re Number Three, out of all of the hundreds of books that she read this year. It’s kind of a big deal, because she reads a whole lot, and reviews lots of what she reads. And she picked YOUR BOOK!
Look here – http://deeanddeedish.blogspot.com/2007/12/best-of-best.html
I have to tell you though, I might have helped her pick – but only just a little. Your book was the total very best book that I read all year.
Love,
Maggie

Maggie! Why that’s WONDERFUL news! And thank you so much for helping her make that hard decision! I am very flattered.
December 25th, 2007 at 12:31 am
hey, Maggie!
i went to your mom’s blog, but i couldn’t find out how to post a comment about TatSoC! it might because, obviously, i’m not a blogger! i’m only 10, after all. but i do have a book list (sort of), and, since i simply CANNOT find out how to make a website, i’l put it here (if you don’t mind, theo).
Harry Potter (entire series)(no new books)

Theodosia (entire series)
The Golden Compass (entire series)(no new books)
Warriors (entire series)
and that’s that!
Paige
P.S. who here celebrates Hanukkah? Anyone?
January 3rd, 2008 at 3:11 pm
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! and my birthday is in the week after next… but i’m not typing the exact date ’cause of the serpents of chaos. and do any TatSoC/TatSoO fans play Toontown online? because i want to make more true friends.

if anyone knows anything about Colonial Delaware, that would really help.
Paige
January 10th, 2008 at 5:33 am
Sorry Paige! I know absolutely nothing about Colonial Delaware!
February 5th, 2008 at 12:34 am
Oh, well, I live above that state, (wait. above? I don’t know, near) and always see the Delaware river…but not sure about that.
February 9th, 2008 at 12:49 pm
Oh yeah! Forgot! I LOVE all the books you listed, Paige. Except maybe Warriors, I started reading it and got sort of uninterested. Anyway, if you like the same books I do, may I suggest one? The Mysterious Benedict Society is extremely good, a little boring at times, but good. It involves 2 orphans, a runaway, a 2-year old, an old man, an institute, an Emergency, and 1 extremely dangerous machine.
Read it if you want a good book!
(P.S. It’s about as boring as the Golden Compass series…oh yeah, has anyone seen the movie? I have.)
March 8th, 2008 at 3:16 pm
I saw the movie. towards the end it got pretty lame. they left the entire ending out, with Roger… hope this doesn’t spoil the book for anyone else…
