German Theodosia!

I’m not sure if any of you speak German or not, but I found a box of these lovely German editions on my doorstep Friday night. In German, the book is called, The Curse of the Black Cat. I totally love the earring Isis is wearing. I want one for my cat. Except I think she’d probably shred me to ribbons if I tried to put one on her.

Wow. I totally got scared when I saw Theodosia’s face staring at me!!
Cool. The cover is excellent!
May 5th, 2008 at 1:23 am
gasp…. You should have a contest for one of those!
Because I really want one!
May 5th, 2008 at 6:02 pm
WHOA. I got really scared when I saw that. I don’t really like it, REALLY REALLY sorry, Theo. But Leximel is right! You should have a contest and the German thing should be the prize!
-Kaitlyn
P.S. I’m proud of you, Theo! Imagine having an AWESOME book like yours in German! And I like that name. The Curse of the Black Cat.
May 5th, 2008 at 6:04 pm
OMG! Cool do you have it in spanish?
May 5th, 2008 at 6:21 pm
I feel so bored when no one is here
May 5th, 2008 at 6:25 pm
Well, it’s not a chatting room, R.L. is right.
May 5th, 2008 at 6:25 pm
whats a chatting room?
May 5th, 2008 at 6:26 pm
there’s so many things i don’t know
May 5th, 2008 at 6:27 pm
A room where everyone chats all day long (which dosen’t happen on here). But there’s nothing to talk about, even if it WAS a chatting room.
May 5th, 2008 at 6:28 pm
oh
May 5th, 2008 at 6:30 pm
I wonder why the german version has a different name then the english version?
May 5th, 2008 at 6:30 pm
Me too.
May 5th, 2008 at 8:28 pm
BECAUSE BLACK CATS ROCK UHUH UHUH
Which is better:
French or Spanish?
Red or blue?
Outer space or the ocean?
For me:
French, aw yeah!! RAWK OUT
Blue!!!!!! red is the color of blood when shed…blue is blood inside!
THE OCEAN OCEAN OCEAN OMG I WANNA BE A MARINE BIOLOGIST!!!
Ok your turn!
May 5th, 2008 at 11:40 pm
For the same “which is better” thing? Ok, here goes.
French or Spanish?
I’d go with French. It’s better than Spanish, but it’s not #1 on my list.
Red or blue?
I like red better than blue, acually. I like the deep scarlet kind of red. Man, I’d like a scarlet bed spread. (Sorry)
Outer space or the ocean?
I LOVE THE SEA!! It makes me feel…at home, some how. And imagine all the different things that could turn up! But I don’t want to be a marine biologist, if that’s what you’re looking for. Sorry, Kyra. But I DO LOVE THE SEA!
Ok, now Kyra, answer me this:
Summer or Spring?
Christmas or Easter?
Tree house or fort?
Staff of Osiris or Serpents of Chaos?
Climbing Trees or Rock climbing towers?
Poetry or Reading OR writing?
My opinion:
Spring. Hey, it’s still warm and I LOVE the cool plants and the secret things Summer doesn’t have.
Easter is my way. Did you know Easter is more important than Christmas? And it’s in Spring (that’s not one of the secret things Summer doesn’t have).
Tree house. A really COOL tree house with latters and swings and…I could go on forever.
Serpents of Chaos sounds so mystical and adventurous. I’d have to think about Staff of Osiris.
Trees. The rock climbing towers…eh, I’ve made it to the top SOMEtimes. But I like trees better.
Boy, this is a hard one! Let’s see…um…I guess poetry. I really do love it and it’s still writing.
Ok, Kyra! (Kiki) Now tell me YOUR opinion.
See you later!

Another overly long comment (the thing is, I didn’t mean for it to be an overly long comment).
May 6th, 2008 at 8:09 pm
Okay…
Summer or spring?
Summer! Mainly because we don’t have school and also my birthday is the first day of summer!!
Christmas or Easter?
Christmas! I love opening presents, which may sound very selfish, but it’s true. It’s a mystery to what’s inside!! And those plastic eggs, you shake them and you know what’s inside (like a rattle means a jellybean usually).
Treehouse or fort?
Treehouse!!!!!!!!!!! I love being up in the air….and forts are enclosed and dark and…war-like.
Staff of Orisis or Serpents of Chaos?
I think I like Staff of Orisis better. If you know a lot of Egyptian mythology, you’ll know that Orisis was the all-powerful nice pharaoh who nicely got chopped up by evil Seth and was rescued by his wife Isis.
Trees or rock climbing towers?
I like trees….and don’t really like rock climbing….but to do with trees…I LOVE ZIP LINING!!!!!!!
Poetry or reading or writing?
READING…..There are tons of things you can read! And you have to know how to read!

Nice Opinions, Kyra! Even though some of both of our’s compared are different, I really couldn’t choose on any of them!
But I forgot something. I LOVE ZIP LINEING, TOO! Ok, see you (or comment to you) later. Bye!

-Kaitlyn

O my gosh! Mrs LaFevers! That cover is beautiful! I like it a lot! It reminds me of an Italina street poster, I don’t know why but it does

May 12th, 2008 at 3:17 pm
Augusta, are you on? You’re new? Yay! a new person! (a few, actually)
Ok, I’m exploring.
May 12th, 2008 at 7:57 pm
And is your full first name Augusta Jane or Just Augusta?
May 12th, 2008 at 8:25 pm
Augusta is my first name but Jane is my middle name… I just like the sound of the two together. It is refreshing when i always hear Augusta. But you can call me Gus, Gussa, Gussy, A.J, and anything you like really. I am not exactly a new person though (but thank you for noticing me) I read the book over X-mas (LOOOOOOOOVEEEEEEEEEEDDDDD IT!) :*
May 12th, 2008 at 8:26 pm
May 12th, 2008 at 9:24 pm
Read the book “Tunnels”
I guarantee you will LOVE IT!
If you like what I like.
May 12th, 2008 at 11:36 pm
Ok, I choose…. A.J.
May 13th, 2008 at 8:42 pm
Okay, I will call you…..Taja. The last two letters of your first name and the first two letters of your middle name!!
So, Taja…..
Hmm….
Erm…
Bye!
May 14th, 2008 at 12:27 am
ok everyone new here… as many others know, i am a spelling and grammar freak, so if there are any comments about misspelled words or bad grammar, unless you’re taking a grammar and spelling test the next day, please ignore…
May 14th, 2008 at 7:59 pm
I know what you mean, Paige! I hate it when instead of people saying “your” or “you’re” they say the other your. Like if someone says “You’re weird” they say “Your weird” or if they say “Your face is red” they say “You’re face is red!” IT’S SOOOO ANNOYING
May 15th, 2008 at 1:35 am
The contest is over! I am soooooooooo nervous! I wish that we could all win
May 17th, 2008 at 3:25 pm
I know.
