By Popular Demand - A New Contest!
Okay girls. You’ve asked for it, you’ve got it. We’re going to have a new contest with the prize being a copy of the German edition of Theodosia The Curse of the Black Cat.
To enter the contest, you have to come up with an alternative name for Theodosia and the Serpents of Chaos, sort of like the German publisher did. What else do you think would have made an intriguing title, knowing what you know about the book?
The Rules:
Only three title suggestions per person, so be sure and think about them. Also, once you’ve posted your title ideas, you can’t change your mind, that’s your entry.
The contest will run for one week. That can be confusing, I know, since the blog time is in Theodosia time. So for clarity’s sake: Today is Wed. May 7. I’ll close the contest next Wed. May 14 at 6:00 pm PST.

Alright, so, I just was outside doing bird watching with this book that makes the sounds of different birds. You should hear the Common Loon. It’s SO pretty and sounds like a haunted house.

Alright, I say it’s been two weeks, and it’s time for another contest. Who agrees?
And, all of you who are reading this (if you wish), right now, sit back and close your eyes and think of something that gets you into a feeling to think about it again later. Such as mine:
I’m riding a pitch black horse across the feild. My friend the hawk is circling above me. The wind is blowing in my face. There is no rieghns on my horse and no saddle. A snake is wrapped around my waist, since he can’t go so fast. The great feild we are riding in is windy and sunny. The trees bow toward the fading the daylight. My horse pads into a stop. My friend the hawk stops circling above and lands on my shoulder. His golden feathers shine as the sunset turns deep scarlet red. The feild has ended, and there is a path leading into the woods. My horse goes through, and we see a bear. I draw my bow and one of my many arrows. The bear turns away. I point my arrow down as a sign of peace. The bear nods, or almost nods, (you can never tell with animals) and pads away. I smile to myself and gallop back across the feild on my horse. I return to my house, or something to call my own home. I’m me. I majestic girl.
I know, a little weird, but I like thinking about it. It makes me all tingly, like it will really happen someday.
