The Cat Is Out Of The Bag…
…or, more accurately, the book, that is. THEODOSIA AND THE STAFF OF OSIRIS, to be exact. For some mysterious reason, it has shipped nearly four weeks early and is now available at online retailers and indie bookstores around the country! I thought I’d share that with those of you who simply cannot wait another moment.

Are you sure that there’s 27 words? Kyra and I can only find 22. You seem 5 more than it’s supposed to.
I’ve looked through the whole thing, and not another word came up. I really need you to count the number of words you put on the word search. 22 is all I’ve got, and if I post it and there’s more, people will know what to look for and it will all be so easy. It’s just who posts it first.
Could you give me the last 5 words (if there is)? I’s really appreciate it.
Yours,
Kaitlyn

oops! I meant I’d.

If I gave you the last five words, it would be cheating, wouldn’t it?? And how would I know which 22 words you already had? No, we’ll wait until the end of the contest and I’ll tell you then how we’ll resolve it and make sure no one else will copy the words you found.
Have faith, dear Kaitlyn. (And I did warn you that it was HARD! I’m hugely impressed you and Kiki found 22 already.)

I wanted to let you all know that I am going to be making some changes to this blog in a few days.
It was originally intended to be a place where readers who enjoyed the Theodosia books could come and ask questions or have a book related discussion. In the last few months, it’s been more of a chat room for a handful of you dedicated readers, which has been lovely, but not really what it was supposed to be. There have been tons of “I’m bored” type comments that don’t really add much to the discussion. With the second book coming out, many new readers will be finding their way to this blog and might feel a bit put off by some of that sort of chat, and they might not be willing to wade through nearly a hundred comments to get to the more meaty stuff.
I’m really thrilled so many of you loyal readers have enjoyed hanging out here and hope that if you’ve formed friendships with other loyal readers, you’ll keep in touch off line. And as always, if you have questions about the books or of me, ask away, but I do want to get away from some of the “I’m bored, someone entertain me,” type comments.
Hope you all understand!

Sure, Theo!
So do you know exactly why the book came out early? Theodosia and the Staff of Osiris, I mean.
