Hi ms. LaFevers I have a great story that would be just the sort of thing you would be interested in. My mother has a friend who used to work as a night guard at the Oriental Institute of Chicago. One night he was sitting all alone in the Egypt room, and he swears the cat goddess Bastet in full Egyptian garb walked into the room, looked at him and said “meow.” To this day, he cannot be sure if he was asleep and dreaming or not when it happened…

Anna, Rick Riordan has a new series coming out called The Kane Chronicles, which IS different than the 39 Clues. It’s also about Egyptian gods and goddesses.
