A Primer on Egyptian Magic & Upcoming Appearances
Hello all!
I hope everyone is so quiet because they have their nose buried in a good book!
My travel plans are firming up, and the information on where I’ll be talking and signing in May is trickling in. Two firm dates are:
Tuesday, May 18, 10:30 a.m. Politics and Prose, Washington DC
Thursday, May 20, 6:00 p.m. Wellesley Booksmith, Wellesley, Massachusetts
And lastly, for those of you who just can’t enough about Egyptian magic, I blogged over at The Enchanted Inkpot this week, talking about that very thing!

Will you be in Las Vegas? I just finished “The Eyes of Horus” and am glad you have a fourth book! When will it be in bookstores? Can’t wait!

Hurray! I live in the Washington,DC surburb so this will work great for me. What will you be talking about?

Unfortunately I won’t be making it to Las Vegas this time around, Darlyne! SO glad you liked EYES OF HORUS! Book Four should be out May 2011, according to my editor, so just about a year from now.
Yeay Anna! So glad someone from the blog is in Washington! I will be talking about my writing process, where ideas come from, and the seeds of truth in fiction–including a lot of the historical roots the fantasy elements in the Theodosia books. Hope you can make it!

Launa, a site I used a lot for research was the Tour Egypt site: http://www.touregypt.net
It was great for research, but I have no idea how it will be for travel.
And I’m thrilled you’re enjoying the books! Good luck with your travels.

Hey RL, um, could you maybe post all the Egyptian gods and/or goddesses that you know? And what their area is? (Like Thoth for wisdom, Sekhmet for war, Taweret for protection, ect.)
